At Pangat.Online, accessible from https://pangat.online, we respect the privacy of restaurant merchants, staff members, and dining guests. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how it is used, and the steps we take to protect your data.

2. Information We Collect

Restaurant Merchant Information: When signing up for Pangat OS, we collect your restaurant name, chosen URL slug, owner name, contact phone/WhatsApp number, email address, owner security PIN, and optional GSTIN/FSSAI registration numbers.

Diner and Ordering Information: When a customer scans a table QR code or places an order via self-service kiosk, we record the ordered items, table number, order timestamp, and customer phone number (if provided for billing or loyalty).

Payment & UPI Information: All UPI payments are executed directly between the customer’s UPI app and your restaurant’s bank VPA. Pangat.Online never stores customer bank PINs, debit card numbers, or sensitive financial credentials.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To maintain, operate, and synchronize your restaurant's real-time orders, KDS kitchen tickets, and billing records.
  • To generate accurate sales, tax, and GST reports for your establishment.
  • To send operational updates, technical notifications, and invoice receipts via WhatsApp or email.
  • To prevent fraudulent orders through our proprietary anti-spoofing table session lock technology.

4. 100% Merchant Data Ownership

Unlike third-party food delivery aggregators, Pangat.Online does not sell, rent, or monetize your restaurant's customer database. All customer records and sales figures belong exclusively to the restaurant merchant.

5. Security and Cloudflare D1 Architecture

Your data is stored in encrypted, isolated multi-tenant relational databases powered by Cloudflare edge data centers with global TLS encryption, automated DDoS shielding, and daily redundancy backups.
